I am first and foremost a wife & mother of four amazing daughters. Previously, I worked in corporate America, as well as nearly four professional years of experience in a child care center before opening my own Family Childcare Home. I have received my degree in Early Childhood Education with honors, as well as my Large Center Director's Certificate & Certification in Expanding Quality in Infant & Toddler Care. Current Level 5 Early Childhood Professional Credential. Colorado Shines Level 3. Licensed, Insured. CPR/First Aid/Medication Administration/Universal Precautions, Continued ECE Education Annually. Previous large center director, preschool/ toddler teacher and infant nursery supervisor. Member JCCCA & actively involved with Colorado Shines, Child Care Innovations & The Early Childhood Triad Council.
About The Owner
Every child is unique and we believe that success and growth come from encouragement and guidance; with opportunities for learning through instruction, play & by given independence. Our focus is on building every child’s self esteem, respect for others' and confidence through positive and organic learning opportunities and developmentally appropriate activities. Much of our day is spent outdoors, weather permitting. We mix different styles of Early Childhood approaches; Play based/Developmentally Appropriate, Waldorf, Reggio Emilia, High Scope & Spanish Immersion. A child see’s the world around them with wonder and awe, we believe learning occurs by encouraging their natural curiosity in a natural, creative and flexible environment, understanding that children learn through play!
